چکیده

Both the relativistic and non-relativistic model explain very well lowenergy nuclear phenomena, but in a physically different way from each other. There seems to be no low-energy phenomenon to answer which model is more reasonable. In order to explore a difference between two models, high momentum transfer phenomena are investigated. First it is shown that the neutron spin-orbit charge density in the relativistic model reproduces very well experimental data on elastic electron scattering which have not been explained in the non-relativistic model. Next it is predicted that the relativistic Coulomb sum value is strongly quenched, compared with the non-relativistic one. This quenching is owing to the anti-nucleon degrees of freedom, which make the nucleon size larger and equivalently the vector-meson mass smaller in nuclear medium. New experiment on the Coulomb sum values around the momentum transfer 1GeV is expected to distinguish the relativistic from the non-relativistic model. Non-Relativistic Limit of Neutron Beta-Decay Cross-Section in the Presence of Strong Magnetic Field

One of the most important reactions of the URCA that lead to the cooling of a neutron star, is neutron beta-decay ( ). In this research, the energy spectra and wave functions of massive fermions taking into account the Anomalous Magnetic Moment (AMM) in the presence of a strong changed magnetic field are calculated. For this purpose, the Dirac-Pauli equation for charged and neutral fermions is ...

Variational Calculations for the Relativistic Interacting Fermion System at Finite Temperature: Application to Liquid 3He

In this paper, at first we have formulated the lowest order constrained variational method for the relativistic case of an interacting fermion system at finite temperature. Then we have used this formalism to calculate some thermodynamic properties of liquid in the relativistic regime. The results show that the difference between total energies of relativistic and non-relativistic cases of liqu...

Calculation of the relativistic bulk tensor and shear tensor of relativistic accretion flows in the Kerr metric.

In this paper, we calculate the relativistic bulk tensor and shear tensor of the relativistic accretion ows in the Kerr metric, overall and without any approximation. We obtain the relations of all components of the relativistic bulk and shear tensor in terms of components of four-velocity and its derivatives, Christoffel symbols and metric components in the BLF. Then, these components are deri...

Relativistic Stellar Models with Quadratic Equation of State

In this paper, we have obtained and presented new relativistic stellar configurations considering an anisotropic fluid distribution with a charge distribution and a gravitational potential Z(x) that depends on an adjustable parameter. The quadratic equation of state based on Feroze and Siddiqui viewpoint is used for the matter distribution. The new solutions can be written in terms of elementar...

Two-fluid models of superfluid neutron star cores

Both relativistic and non-relativistic two-fluid models of neutron star cores are constructed, using the constrained variational formalism developed by Brandon Carter and co-workers. We consider a mixture of superfluid neutrons and superconducting protons at zero temperature, taking into account mutual entrainment effects. Leptons, which affect the interior composition of the neutron star and c...
